SESSION 14: INTERNET SAFETY

1- .  Hachers are a nasty sort. They try to steal the information that packets carry like credit card numbers and passwords.

2-.  Viruses also attack computers and servers. They cause problems like sending emails that you haven't written and destroying information stored inside computers.


3-.  Router moves information along the internet by sending the shortest and fastest path to the destination computer.



OPTION 1: ZIMBABWE

Human immunodeficiency virus HIV is a virus that slowly attacks the bodi's immune or defense system.
When infected people become sick, they develop AIDS or Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome.
There is no known cure for HIV or AIDS, but with proper treatment, people can live a long and healthy life whith HIV.

Today, 40 million worldwide have AIDS.
In 2003 alone, three million people died of AIDS.
THAT'S 6 DEATHS PER MINUTE!!

Young people are hit particulary hard by the crisis. The number of infected youth and orphens is skyrockting.
Sadly, almost 3.000 young people a day ar diagnosted with the infection.
Afrca has also been hit hard by the virus.
While only 11% of the world's population lives in Sub-Sahaean Africa, 7 out of every 10 people infected with the AIDS virus (that's 28 millions total), are from this region.
